Thanksgiving is just around the corner, so lately I find myself reflecting on everything I’m grateful for. It's been a marvelous year so far! The depth of my gratitude—for things big and small—seems to be ever increasing. Is that because I’m getting older?
|
I’m excited for upcoming memories we’ll make with our family, who bring us so much joy. Not just over Thanksgiving weekend... next month our family grows again! Two new grandchildren will join us. Our hearts are so full.
|

I’m deeply grateful to have had the opportunity to once again lead culinary tours in Italy and France this year. These trips are indeed work, but I deeply appreciate how fortunate the travel team and I are to make fond new memories over great meals and conversations, shared with so many interesting and wonderful people in some of the world's most beautiful places.

As we send this, we're about to start our 25th anniversary celebrations for Jill’s Table. These 25 years could not have been possible without YOU, our loyal customers who have supported us all these years. We are so forever grateful to each and every one of you.

As preparations begin to gather with friends and family, we're sharing some products and recipes that might be helpful for your special gathering.

We're sharing two recipes with you today: one brand new and an old family favourite.
This year I’ve decided to serve something a bit different for an appetizer for Thanksgiving: easy Greek shrimp. It’s so simple, comes together very quickly, and hardly even needs a written recipe... just combine a jar of delicious Divina marinated feta and olives with a pound of our fantastic Ocean Prime shrimp. It's outrageously simple but delicious.

The other recipe is a family favourite and makes light work of dispatching turkey leftovers. It’s a skillet turkey pie, and it too is quick and easy. I make it in a 10-inch Lodge cast iron pan; it's the perfect height for simple one-dish preparation, leaving the crust fully exposed while it bakes.
|
I hope you too have much to be grateful for this year, and that you'll be able to share some special time around a table this Thanksgiving. I am always thankful for any opportunity to gather for meals with friends and family.
