Thanksgiving weekend is just around the corner (Oct 10-12) which means it's time to take stock of what we are grateful for and to plan gatherings with family and friends.
For me, gratitude always begins with family. Our busy family—including three grandchildren under the age of four and one in university—brings us so much joy.
We hope to get together with as many of them as possible for the holiday. I'm looking forward to laughter, a good dose of chaos with the younger ones, and a well-planned meal prepared with love.

I recently hosted a tour in France and was re-acquainted with a simple ham and cheese quiche. How had I forgotten how delicious this is? We’ve published this recipe for an easy crustless version. It's light, delicious, and a fantastic way to make the most of Thanksgiving ham leftovers.
