So much snow! It's been a long time since we've had so much accumulation before Christmas. It definitely feels like the holidays this year.

Are you still digging out on this Sunday morning? Or is holiday shopping maybe on deck? We'll be here in the store for you from 11-4 today (and the remaining two Sundays until Christmas as well).
Of all the holiday rituals, I think it’s the preparation of Christmas stockings that seems to bring the most joy to both the giver and receiver. There's a predictable comfort in filling stockings, especially since they often feature childhood favourites. What’s not to love about getting something you love year after year?

While I fill stockings for my family with the usual socks, licorice, body wash and of course an orange, I’m always on the lookout for something new. Often it’s a special treat I've brought in for the season at the store that I hope they will enjoy over the holidays.

Our holiday table at Jill’s Table is full of fabulous items for stockings – including sweet treats, specialty foods, kitchen gadgets, and all variety of holiday gifts.
On the table this year are some simple perennial favourites such as tomato paste in a tube and our best-selling Polish scrubbies. Customers tell us these have become traditional stocking stuffers for their loved ones, and it reminds us of how grateful we are to be part of so many families' holiday traditions.

Check out what we have to offer on our basket table in the kitchen. You are also welcome to drop into the store and select items that we can put in a gift bag with a festive gift tag.

Of course, no Jill's Table newsletter would be complete without a recipe; this time we are featuring a delicious 4-serving vegetarian lasagna baked in our Emile Henry Anniversary loaf pan. It's made with our new Rustic Sicilian pasta sauce and Rummo lasagna. The best part of this recipe is that you don’t have to pre-cook the noodles.

Reminder: parking to visit us is EASY
|
It's come to our attention that not everyone knows Covent Garden Market, right across the street, offers free one hour parking on weekdays and two hours on the weekend in their underground parking garage. Just pop into the market and validate your ticket at the machine in the center of the building. It's perfectly fine to validate there and visit us!
Or if you need to pop in for a quick pick-up of an order, there are complimentary 20-minute spots on Talbot, south of King (alongside J-Dee's and the hair salons).
If you are really pushed for time, remember most of our products are available online, and include free London delivery on orders over $150 and at an inexpensive flat rate of $10 for all other orders.
