As we get ready to ring in a New Year, it’s a good time to look back on the previous year and ahead to the next. There’s much to be grateful for and much to look forward to.
Thank you for your continued support of Jill’s Table in 2024. We were so appreciative of the incredible turn-out to both our 25th anniversary and holiday open houses this year. Many of you made it to both. Thank you!
Your continued support of our small local business has meant so much throughout this past year. We know the seemingly never-ending construction and parking changes have sometimes felt challenging, so thank you for making the effort to visit. We will continue to provide parking recommendations. There are many options close by (including free parking with validation at the market) and we’ll do our best to keep you in the loop.

The response to our anniversary cookbook Jill’s Favourites has been thrilling. All proceeds from its sales go to The Jill Wilcox Foundation, a registered charity supporting community projects for food and food-related education initiatives for women and children. So far, the book has raised almost $20,000.

Many of you added the Emile Henry 25th anniversary loaf pan to your culinary collection this season. We hope you are enjoying making many delicious savoury and sweet dishes in it. Other private-label 25th anniversary products we introduced this year were also a huge hit, with most selling out by Christmas. We look forward to working with some local companies to bring the products back to our shelves in the New Year.
Store anniversary celebrations will continue until summer/fall 2025, but in the meantime we have New Year’s to celebrate! We are here to help you find what you need to prepare for your New Year's celebrations. To help with your party foods and supplies, we're open today, Sunday, from 11 to 4 (and this will be our last Sunday opening for the year).

At my New Year's get-together I’ll be serving one of my go-to party treats: a simple crostini with delicious Madame Loïk whipped cheese with sea salt and Adar smoked salmon. So easy to prepare and so delicious. For dessert I'm serving scrumptious Salted Caramel and Belgian Dark Chocolate potted desserts from local maker Good Pud in Tillsonburg.
If you are planning a simple charcuterie board, we have many wonderful cheeses, cured meats, olives, nuts and more in store. And yes, we have beautiful walnut boards from Trevor Ewart at Once Upon a Tree if you are in need of one.
