As June approaches, I can't believe it was a year ago in this space that I shared our news about a new grandson. What a wonderful year it has been, watching our little guy grow and thrive. It’s also been heartwarming to watch our son and his partner become parents.
It’s these moments that emphasize two things: the importance of family, and just how quickly time can fly. We know this to be all too true come summer. That’s why we’re planning to fit a lot in and why I’m calling this month at Jill’s Table “jam-packed June.”
In addition to upcoming events we’re excited to share with you, Father’s Day is approaching so we’ve put together some excellent gift ideas.

On Saturday June 10, we will welcome Wüsthof’s Derek Marcotte back to Jill’s Table for a special Wüsthof trade-in event. From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Derek will be with us to share his extensive knowledge about these innovative German-made knives.
Bring in an old knife and we will offer you a $20 trade-in toward any regularly-priced Wüsthof knife valued over $100. We will take care of recycling your old knives, and a new knife would make a perfect gift for dad!

Another great maker of popular gifts at this time of year is Lodge Cast Iron from Tennessee. Lodge continues to be one of our “go to” pans in the kitchen. We love that you can use it on all kinds of cooktops, on the BBQ and take it camping.
